If you trail a 4 man in your transition offense (or even a 5) and you want a simple play to get an easy free throw jump shot then take a look at this post pop play for today’s play of the day. This could easily be run as a set for any team though, regardless if it’s run out of a transition or not. The starts with a pick and pop by the 4 man and the ball reversed back up top. The 1 then goes down and sets a down screen for the 5, who starts by setting his man up by making him think he’s going to use the screen by the 3. As an added wrinkle, the 1 can come off the screen by 3 so you get a screen the screener action and can get a shot from either your 5 or your 1.
